Vincent Grant, a former Engineering Technician in the Department of Zoology, passed away last week. Vince worked in the Department of Botany Shop until the mid 80's. He then joined the Department of Zoology for about 4 years and then left to run UBC’s Surplus Equipment Recycling Facility for a number of years before beginning his own event rental company (Horizon Tents). He returned to Zoology for 17 years from 2003 to 2020, when he retired. Please join me in extending our condolences to his family and long-time friends.
