William (Bill) Woolfrey passed away quietly in the early hours of Oct. 28, 2019. He was good natured, had a great work ethic and was organized, helpful, resourceful, and very supportive of the Biology Program. He will be fondly remembered by faculty and staff who worked with him throughout his 38 years at UBC for his kindness and positive outlook on life. Bill was a member of the 25 year club in 1985 and retired in 1998.
In Dec 20th 2019, the BC, Musqueam and UBC flags (at the North Plaza of the Life Building (the Old SUB) have been lowered in remembrance of one of our long time department members - Bill Woolfrey.
