BIOL323: Introductory mycology class students
As part of an introductory mycology class (BIOL323), students collected, identified, and illustrated fungi from the UBC Farm as part of a biodiversity survey. Explore the presentation of their results in a short slide presentation at the beginning of the Earth Timeline exhibit. This type of project is a way of having your students participate in science education and communication as part of a collections-based assignment.

The Beaty Museum is interested in projects from other courses and has templates for slide presentations. Feel free to contact Brett Couch, Yukiko Stranger-Galey or Derek Tan if you are interested in projects for your class.
