You are invited to the 2021 Zoology Holiday Party!
WHEN: Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 5pm to 10pm
WHERE: This year, we are so excited to be back on campus and to finally be able to enjoy – with all the due precautions – a Zoology Holiday party to celebrate this overdue reunion. We have reserved Koerner’s pub at UBC – 1758 West Mall, Vancouver, BC. The pub will be all ours for the night including its indoor and outdoor space. Seating and eating will be casual - menu. Children are more than welcome to attend.
HOW DOES IT WORK? This year there will not be admission tickets. It will work as follows:
- DINE ON US: all Zoology appointed faculty, staff, trainees (RAs, PDFs, and graduate students) and children under 18 can order up to $30 on food.
- ON YOU: Guests and partners are more than welcome to attend but their food will have to be purchased.
- RSVP to info@zoology.ubc.ca include your name, your affiliation and your guest names
TWO PRIZES: We will be giving out prizes for the :
- BEST UGLY SWEATER
- MOST HOLIDAY DECORATED PERSON
COVID protocol - everyone will be checked for vaccine status and valid ID. You will only be able to attend if you are fully vaccinated. During the party, masks are mandatory indoors except when eating or drinking.
