Huts 2021 is here! Join us for an evening of comedy and catharsis as the graduate students of the BRC showcase their acting, singing, dancing, and movie producing talents in a full-length pre-filmed skit, "Biodiversity Reality Channel".
Screening details: The premiere will take place on Fri, Dec 10 in SWNG room 221 (Swing Space building; 2175 West Mall). Doors will open at 5:00PM and showtime will be at 5:15. Running time is approximately 45 minutes. Attendance will be limited to 190 people: Please help us stay within this limit by registering yourself and any additional attendees in your group in the link above. If you wish to watch the skit remotely, stay tuned for a virtual option.
Skit synopsis: Being house-bound during the pandemic had many of us watching more than our fair share of mind-numbing TV and Netflix shows... Join us as we imagine what it would be like if the BRC was a reality TV network (like TLC, but... BRC).
Holiday party: The Huts team and ZGSA are delighted to report that we will be bringing back [a modified version of] the Huts after-party in the BRC this year! Things will be a little different with enhanced COVID safety protocols, including proof-of-vaccination for entry, masks required when not eating/drinking, and hand-held foods (pizza) in lieu of the usual potlock-style. We assure you, the event will be just as much of a blast as it has been in previous years!
Both the Huts skit and holiday party will be family-friendly events! Kids and partners are most welcome. Unfortunately, we cannot allow furry friends to attend the skit screening or holiday party.
