This symposium celebrates the retirement and scientific careers of Professor Donald Moerman at the Department of Zoology, and features prominent scientists who interacted with Don personally and scientifically. Speakers include members of the Royal Society of London as well as Gairdner, Lasker and Nobel prize winners. Topics will span early embryonic development, brain development, touch and thermal sensation, RNAi and micro RNA regulation of gene expression, and genomic approaches to outstanding issues in contemporary biology.
