We will have a MENDING PARTY where you can bring your garments in need of TLC and finally reattach those buttons, fix those holes, darn that sock, or depill that pilly sweater. Dig through your closets now to find that neglected piece of clothing you love but have not worn because it has an easily addressed flaw that you just have not had the time to address!! bring it next friday and come help us save things from the landfill :) Jacelyn Shu will bring some basic supplies (needles, thread, iron-on patches, scrap fabric for patching, scissors, seam ripper, depiller) but please bring your own if you have any (e.g. buttons, matching or colourful yarn for darning, your own scrap fabric/needles/thread)!
