Focused On Scientific Imaging (FOSI) seminar will take place on April 28th (Monday) at 2:30 pm in Michal Smith Laboratories 102 (Auditorium) or Zoom (Hybrid).
We have two speakers from Leander lab (Dept of Zoology).
Regine Claire Manglicmot will give a talk titled "Microscopic Marine Invertebrates: A hidden reservoir of biodiversity and unseen body plans".
Maia Palka will give a talk titled " A practical approach to study uncultivated protists using single-cell techniques for electron microscopy".
Techniques, such as electron microscopy and confocal microscopy will be discussed in the talk.
Before the talk (2:15-2:30pm), Snacks and Coffee will be provided for those attending in person outside the seminar room. Please arrive before the seminar starts as food and drinks are not allowed in the room.
For those who don't know about the FOSI seminar, the FOSI seminar series was created to provide a space for everyone to exchange ideas about imaging techniques and to connect with the people who use the imaging techniques that you might need for your research.
