Graduate Student Society (GSS)
The GSS is an organization of graduate students dedicated to serving the academic, social, and cultural interests of it's over 10,000 members. Together with G+PS, GSS coordinates orientation sessions for new students in late August/early September.
Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (G+PS)
G+PS coordinates and maintains the quality of all Master's and Doctoral programs at the University. They administer awards and scholarships, policies, procedures, and guidelines for graduate students across campus. If you have policy questions, reach out to your Graduate Program Manager, Mimi Yu, before contacting G+PS.
Enrolment Services (ES)
ESAs can help with on topics like making a budget, applying for loans, understanding UBC regulations and processes, and more. ES is also where students order their official transcripts through as well as apply for tuition deferrals. If you're not sure if your question is for Enrolment Services, please check with your Graduate Program Manager, Mimi Yu.
Centre for Accessibility
The Centre for Accessibility facilitates disability-related accommodations and programming initiatives designed to remove barriers for students with disabilities and ongoing medical conditions in all aspects of university life.
International Student Advising
If you have questions about life as an international student, International Student Advising is here to help. International Student Advisors are Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCICs) or Regulated International Student Immigration Advisors (RISIAs) who can support you in your experience as a UBC international student.
